Nickname(s):
"Basil" is easy enough, but the canine would be known by many, many other names.
Name Meaning:
His surname is a deviation of "Sorhyu," a Japanese battleship that was sunk in the battle of Midway. The names he uses for himself all relate to warfare somehow (i.e. Chance Severus, as in the Roman Emperor Lucius Septimius Severus; Jet Harkavy, as in Robert E. Harkavy, political author and warfare historian; Lazarus Shingen as in the famous Japanese daimyo).

22.

C'lair-voe Soar-yew.

Around five gold pieces a month. Varies greatly, but assumed to be wealthy.

Antique wakazashi/shortsword in sheath at hip, a full-size matchlock arquebus slung over shoulder, an assortment of forged official paperwork for various false professions from various continents, an abundance of gunpowder stored in pouches -- anything else will vary.
Race:
Malamute/wolf mix. Born in the orient, but raised as a Kaisurian.
Anything else we should know?
(Basil is played through many aliases, though they all link to this profile to avoid confusion OOC.)
Basil has taken a liking to adapting many different personalities on a whim, often relying not on disguise to fool others, but his mannerisms and the way he presents himself. Quite shifty. The canine has been known as everything from a royal guard to a famous ronin warrior -- two furres might converse about Basil and neither would recognize the character that the other encountered. A very care-free spirit, Basil knows little in the way of self-reservation and is often very loud and confrontational.
His personality is designed to be yakuza-esque.
It should also be noted in this scenario that Bishop is indeed Hyuga's son, though Hyuga believes him to be dead (Bishop's mother/Hyuga's wife, Kristen Sourhyu, was in captivity when he was born and later killed. Bishop has also never seen Hyuga and uses many fake names to distance himself from the father he never had, despising the man for letting his mother be captured and killed in the first place, having never had a family).
Pros:
Extremely persuasive (from charming to intimidating); highly adaptive to new cultures, customs or environments; very intelligent; skilled fighter versed swordplay and hand to hand combat (from being a swordsman for several kingdoms and townships), skilled with anything related to gunpowder (from explosives to firearms).
Cons:
Mundane (without magic); very cocky when confronted; not of the same large build as most fighters; wanted by many furres as a criminal (if recognized!); has no sense of smell and is hard of hearing from operating rifles near his pretty face all his life; suffers from an obsessive-compulsive disorder, which takes priority over anything else.
